Club Registration Procedures

YEARLY RENEWAL OF CLUB REGISTRATION
This is to be done before April 30 th each year:
Complete membership form
Pay membership fees
Bring current registration documents to Show and Shine .
When this has been completed:
Bring Log Book to Show and Shine for stamping.
NOTE : Log books Will NOT be stamped until the first 3 steps are completed.
EXISTING MEMBERS PUTTING ANOTHER VEHICLE ON CLUB REGISTRATION:
The following steps apply for members.
Make sure fees are paid before 30 th April.
Contact a Club Registrar to complete a MR334 form for you.
For this you will need: car inspection (unless known to the club), current registration papers, drivers licence number.
Take the completed form to Services SA to have the vehicle registered for Club Registration. NOTE: Services SA may ask you to complete form MR1.
Return new registration papers to a Club Registrar to enable a log book to be issued.
NEW MEMBERS:
The following steps apply to new members:
Come to a Club meeting to apply for membership. When this is granted and fees are paid Club Registration can be applied for.
Bring the vehicle to a Club Registrar for inspection. All new vehicles need to be sighted and checked to see if they comply with the Club Constitution and Club Registration regulations.
Bring existing registration papers and/or the following information to the Club Registrar. Vehicle registration number, engine number, and licence number.
You will then be issued with form MR334. Take the completed form to Services SA and pay for the Club Registration fees. NOTE: Services SA may ask you to complete form MR1.
Return new registration papers to a Club Registrar to enable a log book to be issued.
Make sure you understand the Club Registration procedures and how to complete the log book. A detailed list of procedures is located on the Club website.
KEY ITEMS TO NOTE:
As the owner of the vehicle, it is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and complies with applicable SA legislation and regulations.
Once the vehicle has been issued with a conditional registration by Services SA, please note that the vehicle cannot be driven until a log book has been issued and completed.
